Twenty first century has witnessed a land mark development in science and technology including space, defense, atomic energy, computer, internet service etc. By the internet invention we can collect required information within a fraction of second from any part of the world. Due to this advanced scientific technological invention, the body movements of the human being have been restricted. Tension and competitive feeling increased. Human being has been felt the lot of stress, hypo kinetic and psychosomatic diseases. So time has come that man should not ignore the importance of any physical activities. Every one desires good health and it is the ultimate objective of all those who want happiness in life. In the case of major health problems, the precautionary measures are plenty. Some people control their diseases like blood pressure, diabetes, acidity, asthma etc. by taking medicines regularly. But such practice does not in a way completely eliminate the health disorders; on the other hand it leads to several other adverse health problems. The continuous, systematic and regular practice of Yoga and any Physical Activities is an effective tool to maintain good health and also helps eliminate all the dreadful diseases from the human body.
The human body was designed so that all physiological functions are optimal. When you exercise, your muscles release natural substances that help relax blood vessel walls, lower blood pressure, reduce "bad" LDL cholesterol, increase "good" HDL cholesterol, move glucose out of the bloodstream and into the cells where it is needed, lower insulin levels, and reduce inflammation. All of these functions together help protect us against heart disease, stroke, type 2 diabetes, and some cancers. Physical activity promotes optimal health which is an integral part in prevention and treatment of many medical conditions, and should be regularly assessed and included as a part of health care.
Physical activity and exercise can have immediate and long-term health benefits. Regular activity can improve your quality of life. Regular practice of exercise helps to reduce risk of a heart attack, manage weight, lowers blood cholesterol level, lower the risk of type 2 diabetes and some cancers, lowers blood pressure , strengthens bones, muscles and joints and lowers risk of developing osteoporosis, lowers risk of falls, reduces periods of hospitalization or bed rest and feel better – with more energy, a better mood, feel more relaxed and sleep better. Practicing exercise on regular basis helps to improve physical wellbeing as well as improves cardio-pulmonary fitness.
