Can deep breathing help for weight loss?

Yes ! Deep breathing can help for weight loss. It provides your body's cells with oxygen, which helps your body to absorb nutrition. It also stimulates your lymphatic system to get rid of toxins which in turn leads to weight loss. Also it acts on a part of parasympathetic nervous system that controls stress in your mind and balances your body. It also slows your metabolism and improves digestion, which can help you lose weight.

Technique: First breathe through your nose rather than your mouth which helps you to stimulate your parasympathetic nervous system and then full exhalation which helps you empty your lungs completely so that you can inhale more air. Next, sit comfortably and rest your hands on your knees, relax your shoulders. During deep breathing you can notice your belly expand while you take the air in. Also in deep breathing take deep breaths, hold for 2sec and exhale. By performing it repeatedly for 5 -10 or more times, it helps you to reduce weight.
